After the show, Scarlett claimed in an interview about realising an album, although nothing regarding her music has been released.
Throughout the live shows, she was praised for her strong vocal and attitude and made it to the final, where she competed against Dalton Harris and Anthony Russell (who were both acts from the Boys category, mentored by Louis Tomlinson), with her finishing runner-up to Dalton. She came back stronger the following year and was able to get pass the Six Chair Challenge, with her mentor as Simon, who despite still criticising for her over-singing, eventually chose her as one of his 4 girls for live shows. She was able to get a seat but after a tense sing-off against eventual finalists, Alisah Bonaobra and Rai-Elle Williams, she was sent home by Sharon. Nevertheless, she made it to the Six Chair Challenge as parts of the Girls category, which was mentored by Sharon, who was the only judge who gave Scarlet a 'no' in her first audition. She first auditioned the previous year in 2017, when throughout her journey, she generally mixed feedback from the judges, particularly from Simon and Sharon.
